The training plan: don’t forget the approaching deadline for electronic submission

Since the Labour Deal, employers with at least 20 employees must establish a formal training plan each year.

More information on what must be included in this formal training plan, can be found in this newsletter.

The draft training plan must first be shared with the Works Council, or in absence thereof the union delegation, or in absence thereof the employees every year by 15 March at the latest. The final training plan must then be established by 31 March at the latest.

Once the final training plan is established, the training plan must be submitted electronically via the application https://www.transfer.werk.belgie.be/.

 

Deadline

The training plan must be submitted within one month after the plan enters into force. This means that the training plan for 2026 has to be submitted by 30 April 2026 at the latest.
